A Note to Parents:
What a wonderful year it has been! I am so excited to have all my first graders back next year in second grade. I will miss the second graders but I do help they come back to visit. They should do really well in third grade! I welcome all the new students to have a second grade class. It has been a while since I have taught a straight grade level.
This web site is here to provide you with information, you can click on these links and it will take you to more and more information. Anytime something is underlined, it is a link further into my web page. I also post a weekly blog during the school year for more specific information. Make sure you subscribe to this blog so that you are informed when there is a new posting.
One thing I have tried to do is create slideshows after we go on a field trip. Please click on the link below to view these slideshows.
Another item that I have tried this year is to find information to help with math online such as online math quizzes. Here is some information for parents on the partial sums method of addition and the trade first method in subtraction in EveryDay Math.
