Theme Related Web Hunts

    In years past, the children have had a great time learning  in the classroom and then we have gone to the computer lab and completed these web hunts.  They have really enjoyed searching out the information and learning on these treasure hunts!  I have changed them a little after we have worked on them to further improve them  but it was a most successful experience!   They were fun, the children learned a lot and they all relate to themes and to the Maine Learning Results.  They were so successful, I will be creating more this summer for use and would like to have at least one per month to use  next year in the classroom.  Check back and see the progress I am making!

 These are the web hunts that I have used in the past years. We usually spend the first 15 minutes at the start of each computer period doing keyboarding and then we go onto these sites as well as doing other computer activities in the lab.  We also have a rotation of centers in the mini lab in our classroom and these are some of the additional sites that we might visit for the computer center in the classroom.
