Semester one: Fall, 2008

Hi there!  I'm Mrs. Pierce and I've been teaching  at KHS for seven years now... going on eight.  I love it here. Currently I teach the honors sophomore students, one 10 CP class, and am the newspaper adviser.  (GO RAMPAGE!)

I'm originally from Colorado and feel very much at home in the outdoors, listening to great music, talking with kids about literature and life, reading alone with a good book or creating a sewing project, or being with my husband, Richard, and my two kids, Sophie (4) and Emerson (almost 2).

I expect a good deal out of my students and have very high expectations for you all.  If anything ever seems daunting, difficult, or unclear, please be sure to come in and chat.  Let's have an awesome year together. - Mrs. Pierce
