Below are the names of eleven authors from the Colonial Period. You may find another author from the Colonial Period who you would prefer to study. If then please see me ASAP.
Every student will be responsible for the information presented in class about all authors. If you are absent, then you should get the notes from one of your classmates.

Each group is responsible for reading the assigned pages, taking notes and making a presentation to the class. I will have questions! Your presentations to the class should strive to thoroughly inform your fellow classmates about your author and the assigned pages. You may use the Internet to add additional interesting information, but at the very minimum, you must cover what is addressed in the anthologies.
Presentations should last 8-10 minutes (timed) and should include some form of audiovisual. If your group needs audiovisual equipment or photocopies for handouts, then they should see me before the due date. If you plan to use a Power Point presentation and the LCD projector, then you should email the P.P. to me in advance and check to see that everything works smoothly, especially sound.
Due Date: All groups should be prepared and ready to present to the whole class on Monday, September 22 (Block 1B) and Tuesday, September 23 (Block 4W).
