This interactive tool allows the teacher to choose a "start number" and a
"step increment". There are tools to show and hide clues. Students are
challenged to figure out the final two numbers of the sequence. To input the
answers into the final two spaces, you need to click on the space and type
your answer in. Then you can click the "check answer" button to see if the
answers were correct.

angle activity asks students to guess the correct angles - a protractor tool
is available. This lesson could be used as a demonstration activity or
independent practice. This estimation activity is excellent practice for
students using both obtuse and acute angles.

Near Doubles Machine

The goal of this activity is to reach a "target
number" from a starting number. Students are given a number and then
have the options of doubling the number, dividing the number by 2,

Using Broderbund's Sammy Science - Acorn Pond, teachers go over the 4 seasons at Acorn Pond with the students. They then open the challenge: Questions at the pond given by an owl. Example: "Who eats bark in the winter?" Then 4 different animals would pop up on screen. The student must go to the board and choose their answer by touching the animal.

SMART Board

Using the "Clocks" template to number the
clock face and draw in the hands to tell the time chosen by the teacher.
*Different colored markers can be used to correspond with the hands. Example: red for hour hand and blue for
minute hand.
