Second Grade Calendar project in MS-Publisher 2000.

Templates as above are provided for each month. We take digital pictures of the class and of students prior to the project and add them into the calendar where you see the above sunset picture. Once the templates are ready for the 12 months, the entire calendar folder is copied and pasted into each student's folder.

Students are to type in the month and year, days of the week and then place the numbers in the grid. Place mouse curser in the box to have day 1 in. Type a 1 then have them use the tab key to go on to the next box in grid.
Before saving we make sure they began and end on the correct day.
Ex: the first on a Thursday and the end of the month, thirtieth should fall on Friday.

First we have the students fill in the title and dates for each month's calendar and save them. 

We then we revisit each  to decorate using provided clipart, do a final save and then print!
Each student takes their calendar project home!
