Kindergarten chases the Ginger Bread Man and explores different cultures. In computer lab we will be using the software by River Deep (Edmark), Travel The World With Timmy. Timmy introduces us to the cultures of France, Russia, Argentina, Kenya and Japan. Look for your child's passport from Timmy! If you missed this last month, here is our Thanksgiving feast in photos!!!
First Grade has a visit from Chewonki. Fur, Feathers and Feet! We will create pictures in the computer lab of the Nutcracker to be posted Online! This month we study Maine birds and traditions around the world! This month we learn of many different traditions around the world. We created art in the computer lab of Kwanzaa Menorahs! See them here online!	Second Grade will finish-up our 2008 calendars in the computer lab!! We should have the first 6 months ready for the new year!!
Multi First/Second Grade Working in our theme related web hunts; holidays, customs and traditions around the world. Flat Stanley returns to our class from his many trips around our country and around the world!
Third Grade are finishing up their state reports, owl pellet study and having holiday readings. Working with Microsoft "Word" in the computer lab. In Science they will be getting into the desert habitat, creating a cactus mural in the hall somewhere near the lovely oak tree habitat. Kids completed a writing piece describing a favorite place they like to spend time. Third graders will end December by starting a unit on the U.S. Government. Fourth Grade visits the Victoria Mansion the Longfellow House in Portland, Maine. We are also busy in the computer lab creating a slideshow presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. No-School Friday December 7th, for parent teacher conferences.	ER Wednesday is December 12th.
Holiday Break begins Monday, December 24, 2006. No-school on New Year's Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2008. School Resumes on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008.
