ART APPRECIATION

1 CREDIT

This is a full-year course based on art history, theory and criticism. It will include writing, analyzing, critiquing art and some limited art making. In addition to covering the various mediums and the elements and principles of art, students will also run and maintain the KHS art gallery and art department website. The graduation requirements for fine arts can be fulfilled with this course. This is not for the unmotivated or shy of writing. It’s fun and a lot of work.
