ADVANCED ART

This course is designed for students who really enjoy a variety of art media and techniques. Advanced Art is perfect for students who just really enjoy art, as well as those wishing to develop a portfolio for the study of art beyond high school. This course challenges each student to further develop individual talents and interests through art exploration. The curriculum for Advanced Art will cover all or some of the following: drawing, painting, pottery, printmaking, jewelry, silk-screening, collage, sculpture and design. Students will be expected to present their work in school Art Exhibits.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Art Foundations with a grade of C or better and/or instructor’s permission.
