ORAL INTERPRETATION

1/2 CREDIT

This unique, performance-style course, also called Readers’ Theatre, combines interpretive reading and communication of literature. Students will improve their competence in recognizing, understanding, and appreciating good literature while improving their speech skills and ability to communicate effectively and expressively. Students will practice research skills to find literature that reflects a certain theme for a final project.

* This class may be taken as a Fine Arts credit or as a senior English elective.
