DIRECTING

1/2 CREDIT

Open to juniors and seniors, this class will teach students the principles of directing and then give them practical experience directing scenes and one-act plays to be performed for the class, other classes, and perhaps the community. Students will read and analyze plays and put theory into practice, using and developing critical thinking skills, decision-making, collaboration, and effective communication. Participants will be put in leadership positions in which they must verbalize their creative ideas and give directions in a cooperative fashion.
