tell about discoveries and experiences orally and in writing

respond to stories orally and in writing

edit their own written work for standard English

dictate or write stories which make sense and have beginning, middle and end

understand the difference between a question and a statement

use upper and lower case appropriately

use spacing consistently                                    

correct use of end punctuation

write complete, meaningful sentences

offer at least 3 details in stories

order stories in a logical fashion

show knowledge of topic and evidence of awareness of audience

show beginning evidence of voice or personality to piece
