Right now, we are visiting not only the largest region of Spain but also the largest region of all the European Union. It was home to Miguel de Unamuno, a very famous Spanish writer. El Cid was also born here. One of the oldest universities in Europe is in this region also. The university was established in 1215. There are aqueducts left from the Romans, and also a walled capital city which is the highest provincial capital in Europe. So much history! You'll see when you get here.
