We are now visiting the 2nd most populated region in Spain. It is also very cosmopolitan. This region also has its own language. The famous artist Salvador Dali was born here and we visited the museum in his honor. There are also ruins here because one of the cities was important to the Roman empire. There is an aqueduct and an amphitheater. This region is truly rich in art as it also has museums for Picasso and Miro and was home to the famous modern architect Gaudi. His cathedral the Sagrada Familia was never finished. The galleries in it would have contained room for 1500 singers, 700 children, and 5 organs. Can you imagine?
