Hola amigos,

We are now visiting the region that was the border between Christian and Moorish Spain. It has a continental climate meaning very cold winters and hot summers. The explorer Pizarro was born here in the town of Trujillo. Today we were at the Museum of Roman Art. It was quite interesting. Tomorrow, we are off to Caceres. There the old quarter is ringed by old Moorish walls with watchtowers. It has been the same since the Golden Age and has been occupied only by magnificent palaces and mansions from the 16th and 17th centuries. Wish you could see it with us, but we will have to wait.

Hasta la vista,

Mario y Patricia
