Hola amigos,

Today we are in the 3rd largest city of Spain. It is also the only river port in this country. It is also the most populous region. The most exciting thing we have done here was visiting the Feria de Abril. It began as a cattle market. Today people dance in the traditional flamenco dress and build temporary houses that are decorated with colorful lamps. Landowners arrive on horses or in horse-coaches. They have a party with flamenco dancing and music which lasts all night and continues for a whole week. They also traditionally drink sherry. The Spanish really know how to have fun! We also visited Huelva-the point from where Columbus left on his trip to discover America in 1492. We have also seen the great mosque-the Mezquita-which is the 3rd biggest in the world. Before we move on, we are planning to do some surfing in the warm water. Can't wait to see you.

Con amor,

Mario y Patricia
