We love working on the computers!
We will be doing several activities in the computer lab this year. My primary focus is working with publishing tools to help show the students various ways they can publish information in future reports and presentations. We will also spend a great deal of time researching topics on the internet. Students will see what information is accurate and learn how to take notes on the important parts of this information.

Students will use Hyper Studio to create virtual houses. They will create several cards in a slide show fashion, that will take the user on a tour of a house they have designed. Past Units
Students made their very own trading card. Each child was asked to type various information about themselves such as height, nickname, birth date etc., as well as a few sentences describing themselves into an already determined format. They were taught to download their own picture from the digital camera onto this card. We will send two copies of our trading cards to our pen pals in Easton, Maine so that we can all get to know one another a little better. The other copy will be coming home to the family.
