Q. How far should I be by the end of the week?
A. You should have 4+ source cards and 20+ note cards
Q. How many sources do I need?
A. 4 (3 must be non-internet)
Q. What's a non-internet source?
A. Books, periodicals, documentaries, site visits, interviews
Q. Is it OK to use Wikipedia?
A. Yes, as long as you cross check your information with published sources.
Q. Is it too late to completely change my topic?
A. Yes, it really is - unless you're willing to put in extra 4-5 hours starting over.
Q. How can I find synonyms when I'm  taking notes?
A. Try www.visuwords.com (see below)
Q. What's this Works Cited that's due on Friday?
A. An typed alphabetical listing of your sources
Q. How do I shrink all the raw footage I've taken for my presentation?
A. We'll look at an example in class that Mr. Shuman made for us.
Q. What am I supposed to read for my "independent reading"
A. Your information books & articles or a novel
