Essential Questions

What are some of the customs and values of Japan that we can learn about through inquiry and friendship?
How is daily life for children different in Japan?
How do the literature and folktales of Japan reflect their values?

Overview

In our study of the Pacific Rim, we will have the opportunity to read novels, plays, and short stories that focus on life in Japan.  At the same time we will  study the geography and cultural issues of these regions in Global Studies.
