BACKGROUND: Students will have the opportunity to gain expertise about a country of their choice while satisfying several interdisciplinary learning results. After each group researches a country of interest, they will create an INSIDER’S TRAVEL GUIDE and develop a PRESENTATION. They will also create displays related to their country.
CORE REQUIREMENTS: each student will earn points for completing/contributing to the parts, which represent the information, learned about the country and its culture.

2. Present
information learned to peers, teachers & guests during the
Expo
(10-15 minutes in length) (20 points) Strive to make
it educational, engaging, and interactive for your
audience. Examples include simulations,
demonstrations, game shows, debates, power points, skits, talk shows, and documentaries.
Procedure
1. Complete research
2. Share research with entire advisory
3. Choose method of presentation
4. Write the plan/script involving all advisory members
5. Make a blueprint or mock-up for your room
6. Create necessary props/signs/displays
7. Rehearse, revise, adjust time to 10-15 minutes
8. Present to peers (day time of March 22nd)
9. Present to public (evening of March 22nd)
3. Design & Create displays that highlight the culture and features of the country
(20 points)
Displays should highlight the uniqueness of the country. This display area will serve multiple purposes:
*To mark the entrance to your advisory presentation on the day of the Exposition.
*To represents the “coolest” aspects of the country and its culture.
*To offers a chance to display any “specialty items.”
4. Participate in this project in a respectful & cooperative manner, use time wisely, use quality standards & meet deadlines. (20 points)
